My yoga journey began with ashtanga yoga when I was a teenager and has since taken me on an inspiring path around the world, from the jungles of South America to the tropical islands of Asia. Along the way, I explored many different movement and yoga styles in search of “the one”, until I discovered FAMO Fascia Movement by Art of Motion Academy (formerly known as Slings Myofascial Training).
This method, based on cutting-edge research, opened my eyes to the body’s myofascial (muscle–fascia) system in a completely new way. The impact was immediate both physically and mentally and unlike anything I had experienced before.
Today, my teaching is the result of my own unique approach: a holistic practice that combines yoga with FAMO Fascia Movement. In my classes, we work with the different qualities of fascia in a balanced way, while cultivating presence. Thanks to my mindfulness instructor training, I naturally integrate breathwork and awareness practices into every session.
My classes are one-of-a-kind experiences. I blend dynamic, varied FAMO Fascia Movement sequences with yoga poses, creating practices that stretch, strengthen, and mobilize the entire body while staying connected to the breath.
The sessions are playful, effective, refreshingly different, and healing on many levels. I’m especially fascinated by the connection between fascia, the brain, and the nervous system, and by how mindful movement can enhance body awareness, reduce stress, and help release deeply held physical and mental patterns we all carry in our bodies.
Fascia-focused movement is a powerful tool: you can feel positive changes in your body and mind immediately. This is the experience I love to share with my clients.
My goal is to give everyone a firsthand sense of how to support their overall wellbeing. Even a brief practice can make a real difference!
I’ve had the privilege of teaching private and corporate clients in Finland, as well as in Colombia, Sri Lanka, Panama, Nicaragua, Mexico, and across Europe - and the journey continues. Everyone is welcome in my classes, regardless of age, size, gender, or background. I teach in both Finnish and English.
I design my sessions to fit perfectly into a busy workday, an event, or everyday life.
